You are listening to the mompreneur mindset podcast, a space where we empower you to build an aligned business. So you can spend less time on the things you think you should be doing in your business, and more time with the people you love. I am your host, Gianna Diggs, let’s get into it.

Welcome back to the show. So today, I want to talk about something that I don’t think all new mompreneurs struggle with. But it can definitely be something that can plague you. And that is deciding to go all in on your business. So I wanted to do this episode, because this is something that I personally have struggled with. And sometimes there are obstacles in the way that might prevent you from going all in. And so for example, you might be financially secure, right? You’re not dependent on the money that you make in your business. All right, you might be content with the income from your nine to five, if you’re still working one. And again, you’re not dependent on the money that you make in your business, you might not have the time to really go all in, right. And these are again, these are just examples. But there are many reasons why you might have one foot in and one foot out the door in your business. So I’m going to take you through a process that I myself have put myself through, basically. And so first thing is, I want you to answer a few questions. So the first question is, what do you really want? What do you want your business to look like? What business model do you want to follow? How many hours do you want to work? Right? How do you want to serve your clients and your customers? Right? And so these questions are designed for you to really tap into what you want, and not what others tell you that you’re supposed to be doing. The next question is, what does life look like? After you decide to go all in your business? Will you finally be able to quit your nine to five? Will you be able to spend more time with your children, maybe go on more vacations, I want you to really tap into how going all in on your business can make improvements in your life for the better. And so I also want to reference Episode Seven visualizing the future you alright to help you with really visualizing the answers to questions one and two? And finally, what is the worst thing that can happen if you decide to go all in in your business? So in this question, I want you to address any negative thoughts that you have about going all in your business and then reframe them into a positive thoughts. So here’s an example. Maybe you feel like you have no time, right? And so you’re always working, you’re you’re always working. When you’re and when you’re not working, you’re attending to your children. So to reframe this thought, I want you to brained up, where do you have the time, right? Like, where do you have some free time, and then really take that time to work on your business. So maybe it’s just an hour, maybe it’s three hours, right? Just deciding that you will use this time to work on your business can really be a game changer. And I’m also going to reference episode 11 on with Michelle Clark, where she talks about growing your business in just two hours a day, and episode six, which is the power of creativity and effective time blocking with Amy Rodman. And so if you haven’t listened to those episodes, I would highly recommend both as they really help you with time management. So another thought that you might have is, What if this doesn’t work out? Right? And so I want to challenge you to think, what if it does work out? Right? What happens then? Again, imagining, imagining the possibilities can help you with this negative thought. So another great episode that can help you with negative self talk is episode three shifting self talk with Rachel stir belly, right, and she gives some great techniques that can help you with your mind, especially when it goes into a negative thought. Now, it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t mention my absolutely favorite two tool, which is human design, and how it helps with decision making. So in episode four and five, I give I kind of break down the Human Design Basics and how it helps you in your business. So if you haven’t listened to that, I would highly recommend you do that. You know, because it’s going to really help in figuring out if going on your business is really the right decision. And so I would highly recommend that you consult with your authority, if it feels like it’s something that you’re not sure of. And so for example, if you’re an emotional authority, I would meditate on it for a couple of days.

If you You’re a splenic authority, your body’s going to really tell you what’s right for you. If you’re a sacral authority, you’ll get a quick hit of a yes or no about it. And so I know there are other authorities. Of course, for time purposes, we’re not going to walk through all of them. So again, episode four, and five is going to really help you to understand human design basics. And you can even check the notes to see if you want to talk about your specific type, right? And listen to that episode that that fits with you. Right, I would highly recommend you do that. I want to mention that using human design is going to be great. Again, if you’re not sure, if you want your business to be full time, it might be that it’s just a side hustle that brings in a few extra dollars a month, and honestly, that is absolutely okay. Right. The point is that you do what it is that you desire. And it’s not what others your spouse, you know what other people think, if you’ve had hired coaches, what your coach thinks like, it’s really what you want to do. I want to keep reiterating that. Now, before we wrap up on this episode, I want to give you just a few takeaways, right? So the first thing is don’t overthink it. Having analysis paralysis really is going to take away from the experience of really deciding if you if having a full time business is what you want. And the key thing is that I want you to experiment with it. Right? Make it fun, right? Maybe you decide one day you’re gonna go all in or one week, you’re gonna go all in, and when we when we do decide not to and kind of see the difference of how that helps you to progress and how you feel about it. Right? The point is to just enjoy this process and, and really experiment with it. And the last thing that I want you to take away from this episode is just to decide, right? Either you’re gonna go all in or you’re not, right, and you can always change your mind later. The key thing is that is to do, again, what you want in your business, right? There is no right or wrong answer here. Well, that is really all I have for you. This is super quick, short episode. I don’t think I mentioned this before. But this is actually the last episode of season one. So I want to thank everyone who’s been supporting the show from the very beginning.
